The beginning of Chimeras<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The initiation of this series marks an attempt to represent the complex entanglements of ideas, thoughts and dreams that spill over into the fabric of reality<\/strong>, forming a whimsical universe. An intimate dance between the tangible and the imaginary takes place, where thoughts intertwine, giving rise to a multitude of other ideas. <\/p>\n

At the heart of this dense, complex mesh, bright colors come to life to symbolize nerve impulses<\/strong>. These tiny electrical signals ensure communication between each neuron. Information and ideas flow and merge harmoniously throughout the composition. Creating a picture in which the dream world and tangible reality are<\/strong> inseparably intertwined<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Where do Chimeras come from?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The origins of Chim\u00e8res lie in my childhood, which was marked by a marked propensity for daydreaming<\/strong>, a characteristic shared by many artists. This inclination, which I already mentioned in my article on the day dreaming<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, has sometimes been a double-edged sword, offering a captivating escape into imaginary worlds on the one hand, but sometimes leading me to isolate myself from the present on the other. <\/p>\n

During my most recent long-distance trip, a striking observation came to the fore: my incessant thoughts, ideas and dreams have sometimes absorbed me so much that I’ve come to block out moments of the present moment. Some of the places and monuments I’ve visited are just blurred silhouettes in my memory, seen without really being seen. A constant blur persists between dream and reality<\/strong>, a delicate balance that permeates the genesis of each canvas in the Chim\u00e8re collection. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In this artistic exploration, the representation of thought<\/strong> is at the heart of my concerns. I seek to depict the way information circulates within the brain<\/strong>, how each idea begets another in an uninterrupted arborescence<\/strong>. The bright colors symbolize the brain’s nerve impulses, spilling out onto the canvas. The result is a fusion where the boundary between reality and dream becomes elusive<\/strong>, inviting us to deliberately lose ourselves in this ambiguity. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The techniques used in these creations are as crucial as the inspiration that guides them. Made inacrylics and using a collage technique<\/strong>, these paintings incorporate natural moss<\/strong> to represent neural aspects<\/strong>. Moss, with its organic texture, allows me to evoke a dense, complex mesh, visually expressing the sensation of tree-like thinking<\/strong>, where each element subtly connects. <\/p>\n

Each detail in the background of the canvas is meticulously worked in several layers, creating a depth that reflects the complexity of thought and moment<\/strong>. The successive layers are like strata of an ever-evolving reflection, inviting observers to explore beyond the surface to discover the multiple dimensions of each work. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The choice of colors<\/strong>, often interpreted as an extension of the emotional palette<\/strong>, is a significant part of this artistic approach. These nuances, revealing my mood and feelings at the moment of creation, offer a distinct light to each canvas. Some canvases glow with naivety and optimism, while others evoke a gentle melancholy, offering a contrasting palette while sharing a common origin. Blue, omnipresent but worked in a variety of ways, embodies both serenity and nostalgia, adding an extra dimension to each composition. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
