Blooming – Painting on canvas – Abstract art

“Blooming” is the fruit of my passion for pansies, the delicate flowers with their striking contrasts that marked my childhood with their singular beauty. This canvas reflects my vision of an imaginary walk through a field of flowers, an abstract composition created with a painting knife, giving rise to linear forms that evoke spontaneity and the freedom of movement. Tones of mauve permeate the canvas, creating a soft, soothing ambience. Touches of violet, yellow and white intermingle to create dynamic plays of color and contrast.
