Vertiges – Painting on canvas – Abstract art

“Vertiges” is my latest abstract creation on canvas, in which I let myself be carried away by geometric effects and shades of blue. As an artist with a passion for the painting knife, I’ve fashioned a composition that takes me back to a tormented urban landscape. Shades of blue dominate my canvas, creating a calm yet dynamic atmosphere. I played with color variations, adding touches of white, yellow and red to intensify the visual effect and create striking contrasts. Glancing at “Vertiges”, you could almost make out the contours of a city in motion. However, the geometric shapes overlap and get lost, creating that deliberate sensation of disorientation and vertigo. I sought to capture the essence of the emotions I feel when faced with an urban landscape oscillating between the familiar and the unfamiliar. “Vertiges” expresses the duality I perceive between fascination and confusion, attraction and imbalance.
